私の研究室では、食中毒菌であるエロモナス属菌を材料に、この菌の生理学的特性や日和見的に発生する重症化の機構について解析しています。特に、菌体外病原因子としてのセリンプロテアーゼの性状や菌体外に放出される膜小胞（OMVs）の特性に注目し、これらの因子が病原性に与える影響について解析を進めています。一方、薬学部医療薬学研究センターおよび呉市の医療施設との共同研究として、院内で分離されたメチシリン耐性黄色ブドウ球菌（MRSA）や緑膿菌に関する分子疫学的研究も展開しています。研究に興味にある方は、遠慮なく研究室を訪ねてください。

私の研究室では、放射線治療に使用する直線加速器や放射線のシミュレーションを行う放射線治療計画装置を用いて種々の解析を行っています。とくに直線加速器の品質管理・品質保証などに着目して、効率的に精度良く実施する方法や放射線治療計画におけるシミュレーションアルゴリズムに関する検討を行っています。
