　私は、脳の免疫を担っているミクログリアについて研究を行っています。ミクログリアは、アルツハイマー病をはじめとした脳が係る疾患や、神経性疼痛に関与すると報告があり非常に注目されている細胞です。ミクログリアに細菌の成分であるLPSを処置してTLR4を刺激することで、脳に炎症が起きた状態のミクログリアの性質や役割を検討しています。
