私の研究室では、SPECT画像再構成およびPET画像再構成について研究を行っています。とくに深層学習を使った画質改善やシミュレーションベースの手法などに着目して、これらを用いた新しい画像再構成法の開発を行っています。国内外の研究グループとの共同研究を通して研究を遂行しています。学部生や大学院生には研究の基礎を学ぶとともに、学会発表を通して発表・討論する能力も養ってもらいます。研究に興味のある方は、ぜひ研究室までお越しください。

本研究室では、セレノネインが、強力なラジカルスカベンジャーであることから、天然物由来の水溶性抗酸化物質として健康食品製造や食品加工に利用可能です。セレノネインは、マグロ類、サバ類などの魚介類に高含有することから、セレノネイン含量を測定してデータベース化に取り組み、缶詰、レトルト食品など様々な形態の食品を開発し、商品化を目指します。さらに、セレノネイン濃縮物を用いて抗加齢、抗メタボリックシンドローム効果をもつ特定保健用機能食品を開発いたします。また、酸化ストレスを伴うアポトーシス誘導シグナル伝達経路の研究を遂行しています。とくに、抗酸化物質セレノネインに伴う生存シグナル経路に注目しております。

　現在の研究は「災害カウンセリング」を中心に行っております。阪神淡路大震災、東日本大震災、西日本豪雨、そしてロシアのウクライナ侵攻、いまだに解決や回復ができていない方が溢れています。そのような人たちに長期に関わり、そのかかわりの中から個別にかかわっていくことの大切さを教えられました。



　そして人を支援するにはまず自らの健康を維持していくことの大切さに気づかされ、次の3点を10年以上実行しております。①睡眠の固定（大人は7時間、子どもは8時間以上）②軽い運動（毎日）③アルコールを控える（子供は甘い炭酸飲料やジャンクフードを控える）です。

私のライフワークは日本および諸外国の福祉に関する法律等を研究し、多面的視点で分析することです。平日は、授業やその準備、会議、ゼミでの学生達へのサポートに追われ、研究のための時間を作ることは、難しいのが現状です。しかしながら、できるかぎり研究にも専念し、毎年、論文または雑誌のための原稿等を作成しています。
国内外の福祉制度等の特徴を比較することはとても重要です。比較することで見えてくる、共通点および相違点を知ることによって、よりよい社会をつくることにつながると私は考えています。さらに、諸外国の法律等の研究は、日本の福祉を広い視野で考えること、また世界の福祉を考えることにもつながります。
「広い視野を持つ真の国際人を目指す」は私の研究活動および教育活動のスローガンです！
